21C District Governor Carolyn White

Carolyn became a Lion in June 2004. DG Carolyn and her late husband Ted raised 6 children together and have 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She and Ted transferred from the Pinetop Lions club when they moved to Apache Junction and now belong to the Mesa Host Lions.

 

She loves working with people, she worked as a medical assistant for 30 years, was an Administrative Assistant for a Superior Court Administrator, ending her working career in the training department of the court house to take care of her ailing mother.  She also held the office of President for the Law Enforcement Wives Association. She loves to sing was involved in her church choirs and a women’s group called the Pine Tones.

 

Governor Carolyn has held numerous Offices including Vice President and President of the Pinetop Lions, District 21 C Zone chair, Cabinet Secretary, and 2nd and 1st Vice District Governor.

 

She has been the recipient of numerous Awards and Certificates including:

  • International President’s Certificate of Appreciation award -2004-2005,

  • Emerging Lions Leadership Institute – 2005-2006,

  • Faculty Development Institute – 2006-2007,

  • International President’s Certificate of Appreciation – 2007-2008,

  • Melvin Jones Award – 2007-2008,

  • Lion of the Year – 2009-2010, from Pinetop Lions

  • Lion of the Year – 2011-2012, from Mesa Host Lions

  • Appreciation award from PDG Phil Phillips, Dist. 21-C
